Holiday Reminders

A series of short videos have been created to help encourage care, respect and responsibility when adventuring on the islands whether you are a visitor to the islands or live here all year round.

The videos are themed on Caring for the Environment, Respecting the Interests of Others and Taking Responsibility for your Actions. They are great small reminders before going and enjoying the outdoors, not just on Barra and Vatersay but anywhere.

These video were created by Castlebay & Vatersay Community Council Initiative supported by Coimhearsnachd Bharraidh agus Bhatarsaidh (Barra and Vatersay Community) Ltd. There Films were made by Prancing Jack Productions.

When out on the islands, make sure to follow the Scottish Outdoor Access Code before you go.

Finally and most of all enjoy being outdoors whether you are on the beaches, in the sea or up a hill. We are lucky to have a beautiful environment to share.
