Bùth Bharraigh has launched a fresh new logo to herald the start of what we hope will be a busy visitor season, moving forward into 2021 with renewed hope and enthusiasm.
When Bùth Bharraigh started out in 2012 as a feasibility study, its main aim was to provide a route to market for local producers. To this day, this remains our main objective.
Since its launch in 2013, however, the Bùth has developed into so much more than a shop. It now provides a wide range of services including free WiFi, laundrette, skill-sharing and training, visitor information and more. The Bùth has recently been working hard to bring a refillery service to the island with the help of Zero Waste Scotland and the Island Green Recovery Programme from the Scottish Government.
This past year has been long and tough for many businesses and communities. Now is the time to step forward with a positive mindset and to work as part of the community towards a brighter future for us all.
